Faculty FAQ's
Password Resets
Use one of the options below to access the appropriate password reset:
Banner Web
A. From the Banner Web homepage, select Schedule of Classes.
A. Once you log into your Banner Web account, locate your Course Schedule and notate the start date and end date of the course.
A. Once you log into your Banner Web account, locate the Personal Information Tab.
You will be directed to a screen with the Personal Information Menu. Once here you
will be able to change your PIN, change your security question, update your address(es)
and Phone(s), update email address(es), update emergency contact information, view
name change information and so forth.
A. Once you log into your Banner Web account, click on the “Faculty Services” tab.
Select “Attendance Verification”. Select the appropriate term. Select the CRN of the
course. Checkmark the “add” box next to the students’ names for non-attendance in
the course. Click “Continue” and then click “Submit”.
Faculty/Staff ASU Email
A. You may access your faculty/staff email account by accessing Microsoft Outlook
on your ASU computer or you may access it via the ASU website. Once you are on the
ASU website: http://www.asurams.edu you may click on Faculty/Staff in the top right corner and then click on Employee
email under Computing Resources.
A. The format for your faculty/staff email is firstname.lastname@asurams.edu ex. john.doe@asurams.edu).
A. You may contact the Helpdesk at 229-500-4357. You may also visit us on the first floor of the James Pendergrast Memorial Library
on the East Campus or Technology Building (A) on the West Campus. Credentials are
emailed to an external email address once the account is created.

ASU Network Account
A. You may contact the Helpdesk at 229-500-4357. You can also visit the Helpdesk located on the first floor in the James Pendergrast
Memorial Library on the East Campus or Technology Building (A) on the West Campus.
The Network ID is emailed to an external email address once the account is created.
A. Passwords must be 10 characters in length, and have at least three of the following:
uppercase letters, lowercase letters, special character, and number. No previous passwords
or personal identifiable information (ex. birthdate, SSN, RamID number) can be used.
A. The Network ID provides access to the campus computers, wireless, Faculty/Staff
email and GeorgiaView D2L.
DegreeWorks
A. DegreeWorks is a web-based tool used to help students and advisors monitor progress
toward degree completion. DegreeWorks looks at the degree requirements of the ASU catalog
and the coursework completed by produce an easy-to-read audit. The audit is divided
into block requirements of how courses taken or proposed count toward degree requirements.
DegreeWorks is used as an advisement tool.
A. You may access DegreeWorks by logging into Banner Web with your RAM ID and password.
Upon logging into Banner you will see the link for DegreeWorks on the Main Menu.
