ASU Early Learning Center receives Quality Rated Renewal Incentive

ALBANY, Ga – The Albany State University Early Learning Center (ELC) was recently approved to receive the Renewal Incentive/Continuous Quality Improvement Award by Quality Rated. Quality Rated is Georgia’s voluntary system to assess, improve and communicate the level of quality in early care and education programs.

The ELC, which has a 2-star rating out of the 3-star system, received a one-time only award in the amount of $1,000 to develop a Professional Learning Plan (PLP), one of the four identified areas of quality improvement. ELC staff members will receive additional training and support in topics such as appreciating and celebrating diversity and special needs in the early childhood classroom.

This is the Center’s first time receiving the incentive.
